Scarification is the mechanical removal of thatch and moss from lawns. If your lawn feels spongy underfoot or moss keeps returning after treatment, there's almost certainly a thatch layer holding moisture and blocking water and nutrients from getting down to the roots. Scarifying removes this thatch layer, allowing access for nutrients and moisture to more easily reach the grass roots.
Not this one, no. We treat lawns rather than mow them, so feeding, weed and moss control, aeration, scarification and seeding are our side of things, and the mowing stays with you.
